These are only a few traumatic experiences many foster children have endured.
With your help, they can have legal advocates equipped and trained to protect them.
The trauma abused and neglected children experience in and out of foster care can scar them for the rest of their lives, having a negative impact on their mental health, behavior, relationships, education, and future success. The nonprofit Child Protection Connection, through its program Texas Lawyers for Children (TLC), protects abused and neglected children from being harmed in foster care by teaching their attorneys how to keep them safe. By providing training and resources to over 3,300 Texas judges and attorneys, we make far reaching, statewide positive change for kids.
